Hornstrandir Wildlife tour isn’t your ordinary sightseeing and hiking tour, as we will visit a hidden paradise located at the very tip of the Northwest part of Iceland, where numerous species of birds and other mammals secretly resides.

When you are an adventure seeker, this tour is best fit for you! As we will take you to a whole new level of adventure, we will discover what is hidden, unveil the discrete and a lot more. Hornstrandir Nature Reserve is one of Iceland’s best kept secret and we will share it with you. This area is uninhabited for more than 60 years now to preserve nature at its finest! The only way to get here is by boat, a secluded remote area perfect for those who just want a peaceful vacation in a paradise. Lush valleys, wild flowers that grows in every corner, beautiful sand beaches, deep fjords and stunning tower cliffs are just few of those that will greet you. There are several hiking routes as well as walking routes just enough to get your adventure craving filled up. These routes are surrounded with spectacular views everywhere!

Along in the itinerary is the island of Vigur where there is a perfect balance of living between birds and man. Arctic Terns, Puffins and Black Guillemots, to name a few of the birds species happily living in this area. Hesteyri, also included in the list of places to hike through, is rich in history and wonderful hiking trails. All of the places we will be visiting are with endless beauty and pure serene nature. You will also notice the numerous wildlife living and running around the areas such as the arctic fox and many more wildlife species. This tour will leave you fascinated as well as inspired.
