HEKLA

Hekla volcano is one of Iceland´s most active volcanoes; over 20 eruptions have occurred in and around Hekla since 874. Hekla looks like a overturned boat, with its keel being in fact a series of craters, two of which are generally the most active. If you are interested in volcanoes, this tour will be a unique experience for you.

HJÁLPARFOSS

Hjálparfoss is one of many waterfalls in the south of Iceland. It is located in the lava fields north of Hekla volcano, close to where the rivers Þjórsá (Iceland´s longest river) and Fossá join. Just downstream from Hjálparfoss is Iceland´s second-largest hydroelectric power station, Búrfellsstöð. This last stop on your Iceland holidays volcano, geothermal and hiking day tour, is a beautiful place that you will love to visit.
